Investing in Community
We prioritize charitable initiatives that focus on food-related challenges. From supplying beef during disaster relief efforts to helping support children and families with food insecurity, we offer our assistance and resources to local projects and organizations.
We also value what matters to our employees. We encourage their involvement in choosing organizations and initiatives we can support.
Serving Our Communities
Building stronger communities goes beyond financial contributions. It requires genuine connections and active engagement. We support our employees’ volunteerism, encouraging them to contribute their time and expertise where needed. Through the support of local value-aligned organizations, we hope to contribute to solutions that reduce hunger in our communities.
With a commitment to serving families and children in need, National Beef® is a longstanding supporter of Ronald McDonald House Charities in many locations. We provide financial support for the Global Giving Initiative and for local projects such as remodeling rooms within the houses, replacing windows, funding overflow housing costs, providing beef and volunteering to prepare family meals.
National Beef employees across our facilities generously support local toy drives for charities such as Samaritan’s Purse, Angel Tree, and Toys for Tots. Each year our team members donate thousands of toys and provide financial support to these charities. Employees generously volunteer their time in support of families in need during the holiday season.
When disasters impact our communities, we are there to support them. That’s why we are proud to team up with Operation BBQ Relief. OBR is an organization that delivers “the healing power of BBQ” in times of need, feeding first responders and those affected by catastrophic events. National Beef donates beef products and supplies and our employees have stepped in to prepare and serve meals.
Driving Economic Growth
We fuel local economies by providing secure employment, investing in infrastructure, and fostering relationships with local businesses for supplies and services. Together the tax revenue generated helps support quality schools and libraries, police and fire services, road maintenance and other programs that benefit the community.
Our beef processing operations support the local cattle industry, generating a ripple effect of economic activity that benefits agribusiness across the entire region. We are proud to contribute to the betterment of our communities and are dedicated to supporting the economic growth in the places we work and live.
